I am Damilola Olabode, a Pharmacometrician serving as an Associate Director in the Clinical Pharmacology and Quantitative Pharmacology department at AstraZeneca. My academic journey began with a background in Applied Mathematics, followed by a master's degree in Statistics, and culminated in the completion of my PhD in Applied Mathematics from Washington State University in 2021.
Throughout my career, I have delved into the realm of mathematical modeling in infectious diseases, resulting in the authorship and co-authorship of four academic papers. These works have significantly contributed to the understanding and advancement of this critical area of study.
Since embarking on my professional path as a clinical pharmacometrician, I have been deeply intrigued by the potential applications of machine learning. I am particularly passionate about integrating machine learning into pharmacometrics activities, leveraging its capabilities to drive innovation and excellence in this field.
