Jin Dong, Ph.D. is an associate director at the department of clinical pharmacology and quantitative pharmacology of AstraZeneca.
Jin earned a B.S. in basic pharmacy and a M.S. in medicinal chemistry from China Pharmaceutical University. He received his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences mentored by Dr. MiKi S. Park from University of the Pacific and Dr. Leslie Z. Benet from University of California San Francisco in 2016. He then worked for Genentech and Simulations Plus before joining AstraZeneca in October 2020. Besides his role at AstraZeneca, he is an editorial advisory board member of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Also, he is an adjunct professor of University of the Pacific.
Jin’s research has been focused on the PBPK modeling of drug-drug interaction, special populations, and PBBM.
