Dr. Julia Korell is a pharmacometrician with over a decade of experience across academia, consulting, and pharmaceutical industry. She rcently joinded Merum Research Group as a Principal Scientist II.
Prior to joinig Metrum, Julia spent 8 years at Boehringer Ingelheim. In her most recent position as Executive Director and US Head of Pharmacometrics at Boehringer, Julia and her team supported over 20 drug development projects across the company's Inflammation portfolio with MIDD strategies and deliverables from start of clinical development up to submission and beyond.
As a German native, Julia studied Pharmacy at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. She then completed a PhD in Pharmacometrics at the University of Otago, New Zealand, under the supervision of Prof. Stephen Duffull. She previously also worked as Postdocal Researcher at Uppsala University, Sweden, and as a pharmacometrics consultant at Model Answers Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia.
