Iraj Hosseini, Distinguished Scientist/Group Head/Pharmacology Team Leader

Iraj Hosseini is a Distinguished Scientist in DevSci PTPK, Modeling & Simulation group. Iraj has been at Genentech since 2015 and leads the group in charge of supporting M&S efforts for the oncology portfolio from lead identification to Phase 1/2 for both the Molecular Oncology and Cancer Immunotherapy programs. In his role, Iraj has been the champion of “QSP in the Loop” and overseen a portfolio of modular oncology QSP models that have enabled accelerated decision-making for an array of modalities including Bispecifics, ADCs, Engineered Cytokines, Cancer Vaccines, and T-cell Therapies. Iraj has also led oncology programs as a phamacology team lead since 2021, overseeing the development of these programs from molecule selection and FIH dose selection to expansion dose selection, and Phase 2 Go/No-Go discussions.
