Jared Weddell, PhD, is a Global Modeling and Simulation Scientist at Astellas Pharma. Jared received his PhD in BioEngineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016, and has since then worked in clinical pharmacology providing modeling and simulation support. Jared specializes in developing and applying quantitative systems pharmacology models within the clinical stage, and has focused on therapeutic areas and modalities including immuno-oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, and cellular and genetic therapies.
