My name is Eleni Caratzas (or Karatza) and i currently i am a Senior Scientis at JnJ Innovative Medicines in the department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics. I have studied Pharmacy and obtained my MSc and Ph.D in Athens (Greece). I am a clinical pharmacologist and pharmacometrician with over 10 years of experience in the field of biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacometrics with 25+ publications. I started my career in Athens working at a CRO supporting primarily generic drug development. On 2020 moved to the US to join a UNC/GSK fellowship where i contributed to supporting NDAs and BLAs using MIDD approaches but also the application of pharmacometrics is pediatric dose optimization. After joining JnJ as a senior scientist I further expanded my experience working in different phases of drug development of both large and small molecules. During this career path, i have gained hands on experience with various pharmacometric approaches including pbpk, population modeling, statistical modeling and ML/AI. I am passionate about mentoring and highly motivated.
