Jenny Chien, PhD

Dr. Chien is an associate VP and a scientific lead in the Global PK/PD and Pharmacometrics Department at Eli Lilly and Company. She received her Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1997. Dr. Chien is recognized for her expertise in model-informed drug development (MIDD) strategy, applying drug-disease models in trial design optimization and dose-finding in Drug Discovery and Development. Dr. Chien has given lectures and published over 80 manuscripts, conference presentations and 3 book chapters on innovative approaches in clinical pharmacology that supported impactful MIDD efforts in R&D and global regulatory submissions over the past 3 decades.
