Dr. Guobao Wang is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at University of California Davis Health. He directs a research laboratory dedicated to methodological development and clinical application of parametric positron emission tomography (PET) technology. His lab stays at the forefront of total-body PET kinetic modeling. Dr. Wang is the principal investigator of multiple active research grants from the National Institutes of Health. The parametric PET techniques developed in his lab are now integrated into commercial PET/CT and PET/MR scanners by leading medical imaging vendors. He also serves as Director of Kinetic Modeling Services in the EXPLORER Molecular Imaging Center and Associate Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Radiology at UC Davis.
