This presentation will showcase the Maternal and Pediatric Precision in Therapeutics (MPRINT) Hub Pharmacometrics and Clinical Trial Design Core, which utilizes modeling approaches to integrate knowledge and support clinical trial design and dosing in maternal and pediatric populations. Specifically, examples of using population pharmacokinetic and physiologically based pharmacokinetics to inform precision dosing for drugs commonly used in pregnant and lactating populations will be presented to demonstrate how modeling approaches can support personalized therapy to improve outcomes and reduce risk in both the mother and fetus or infant.
